In Armenia, there is Internet access now, but it is slow and of poor quality. This is explained by the fact that the connection to the Network is carried out via satellite communication, RIA Novosti reports the words of the press secretary of the telecommunication company ArmenTel Asmik Chutilyan. Recall, the Internet connection Armenia provides a single fiber-optic cable from Georgia to the bottom of the Black Sea. On 4 and 5 August, two major accidents occurred on the cable, as a result of which the connection was lost. The first accident occurred on the territory of Georgia - on the Kutaisi - Zestafoni section, the second - at the bottom of the sea off the coast of Georgia.
