About the "hundreds of lost hours per year." If I wake up at 11-13 hours, then I can work effectively on average 12 hours a day, seven days a week. The head "turns on" immediately at the moment of waking up, and "turns off" about an hour before going to bed (at 3-5 am). Any other mode (I tried them a lot) leads to a drop in effective time from 12 to about 3-4 hours.
Well, the last. How did you decide that your head knows better how much and when to sleep? If at 7 in the morning the body wants to sleep, you force it to get up, and at 11 you would stand up and without violence against yourself, then, do you think this daily (!)
