Ubuntu is sent to conquer corporate servers

After positive experiences with desktop open systems in the European and US markets, Dell, one of the largest suppliers of servers and workstations for the corporate market, said it intends to certify Ubuntu for its line of server products in the first quarter of next year. Now customers will be able to purchase Dell servers with Ubuntu Server pre-installed and receive technical support from Canonical. It is noteworthy that now almost all Dell servers come with Windows. By the spring of 2008, the choice will be much larger: Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, Solaris and, which is nice, Ubuntu Server.
