Boston Dynamics LS3 learned to understand voice commands

A heavy quad-legged LS3 robot, capable of carrying up to 180 kg of cargo over a distance of 32 km, can now be controlled using a normal radio, voice. The new video from Boston Dynamics demonstrates the possibilities of voice control and some other improvements - improved stability and maneuverability, the ability to stand up after a fall, choose the route of movement and points of support for the legs on very rough terrain and carefully maneuver in an urban environment.

This test is the first of a series of LS3 tests conducted by DARPA in conjunction with the US Marine Corps under conditions as close as possible to the real ones. LS3 is supposed to be used to transport equipment and ammunition, as well as a mobile charging station for radios and other electrical equipment.
