Hello. Lately, I began to notice more and more often that sites began to be used in runet, where 2-3 commenting methods were screwed up simultaneously. As a rule, this is Facebook, Vkontakte and its own form or Disqus (giants of thought that would have done all 4 did not notice yet - but, maybe, I was looking bad). The reasons are clear: it is terrible to miss at least one user, and it is almost impossible to choose between the PB and VC. But the implementation is absolutely terrible: there is a comment form on top and a discussion thread, say, Vkontakte, below is the same from Facbook, and at the very bottom is some other garbage. I think it’s not just me who is terrified.
The functional thing is beautiful. If a thing is ugly, then it is probably non-functional. This also applies to our case with comments: not only does it look unaesthetic - it is also inconvenient. For example, sometimes you can just not notice that the site has a second social network plugin, if you do not flush the page down.
What's next?
First, you need to fix the fact: a comment form in which you have already logged in really increases the number of comments. Therefore, social plugins Facebook and VKontakte - to be.
Secondly, the own comment form is not needed. Only if you do not have your own database of active registered users - in this case, you probably do not use social networking plugins. If you have recently started and / or no one comments on you, do not flatter yourself with the hope that one day people will register to leave a comment with you. Will not start.

It should be?
In my opinion, everything is very simple:
it is necessary to spread the form of commenting through the FB and comments through Vkontakte on separate tabs.
Sorry for the paintin Wordpress, as it turned out, this is already there:

And this is how it looks on the Russia Today website:

The main one should be the social network whose users come to you more often. The choice of the user needs to be remembered, and when you re-visit, already show him the tab with
his social network. Since the main resource of any site is, after all, returning users who visit it with a certain frequency, this approach will pay for itself.
In principle, this form of comments can be issued as a separate plug-in, like the same Disqus, only easier and more convenient. After all, not everyone will want to remake the form of comments, make tabs, remembering the choice of users. On the plugin in which all this is already there will be demand.
So what about Disqus? This is a great system, but it does not support Vkontakte. It spoils the whole raspberry. If Disqus does support Vkontakte, then it has excellent prospects in our market. Or if we have someone make their Discus with
blackjack and whores authorization via VC. Thought too.
