Google buys content from the Associated Press

Google and the Associated Press announced a deal: the Internet giant will buy news from the agency for its information project, which, according to plans, will complement the Google News service. The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.

"With this license agreement, we get the right to use the original AP product, but we will do it a little differently than it did in Google News," said Google spokesman Sonya Boralv.
