This conclusion can be reached by reading the
results of the online survey of the Associated Press-AOL Games. It turns out that more than four out of ten (to be more precise, 43%) parents whose children play computer or video games have never played them themselves.

While experts are discussing whether computer games for children and their parents are good or bad, the latter, without the opinion of any experts, have chosen either not to play video and / or computer games with children, or to play, but rarely. Without taking into account those who do not play toys at all, 30% of parents spend less than an hour a week playing with shooters. Quite simply, three-quarters of parents never or almost never play.
The survey showed that young, single and part-time parents often play computer games with children. A good example is homebrew father Marvin Poup (Marvin Paup), who spends 30 hours a week playing with his son, and he also manages to spend a couple of dozen hours on the same games. But it seems to be more like a “clinical” case :)

In general, the study makes it very well to understand the dependence of interest on video games on age. According to the survey, which was attended only by adults, 81% of children from 14 to 17 years from time to time play computer games; at the same time, 38% of adults “chopped up” with periodic regularity into toys. On average, both adults and young gamers spend about two hours on a weekly toy - one half is slightly less, the other more. Among them, three out of 10 play five or more hours a week.
