"No interest in Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8"

On this topic: Clay Bavor, Google Apps Product Director, said that Google will not develop Gmail or Google Drive clients for Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 until users start using these operating systems .

"In 2012, we did a fundamental job, and really improved the performance of our core applications on mobile devices — for example, the ability to directly edit tables in both iOS and Android."

“We have no plans to create applications for Windows. We weigh very carefully what to spend on resources. We will go where the users are - and they are not in Windows Phone or Windows 8. "

“What can be called a lack of interest in these systems inhibits any work in this direction.”

“In 2013, we will continue to invest a lot in mobile platforms to create great mobile applications.”
