Inspired by the posts of Mosigra (
one ,
two ) and the lectures of Sergey Abdulmanov in LiveJournal (
one ,
two ,
three ,
four ), he decided to embody the idea of a board game about startups “in cardboard” and at the same time go along with Habr from the starting point (idea) to the final (box on shelf).
The game is ironic , hence the style of illustrations. One of the chips will be the use of creatively beaten images of real figures of Runet and Burzhuneta (founders of companies, prominent investors, and so on).
Idea brief summary
In the center of the script are Startaper and Investor figures. The first wants to change the whole world, but what can a poor student do? The investor owns the information, money and connections that are inaccessible to most people on the planet ... but is in the eternal search for a young zuckerberg.

The role of a “young innovative entrepreneur” can be played in one of the near-itine incarnations: a programmer, a tester, a freelancer or a designer. Representatives of different professions have different skills that need to be pumped to get ahead.
A little bit more
The following entities are the objects on which the entire foundation is built: investors, startups, companies, skills and gadgets.

Startups pitch investors, try to make deals with companies, and in the process of the game they get different skills and gadgets that help them to move forward on the way to the main goal -
to create a Yard History . Achieving the task is complicated by supports from other start-ups, a cool disposition of Investors and various troubles that life itself throws up.
It is planned to create about a hundred different maps. Each card is a tangible investment of time and money for development and design, but fewer than a hundred can not be done - the game in the company is fraught with repetitions.

The game is illustrated by a young artist from St. Petersburg.
How do you call a ship ...
Sick moment. Mosigra has already released
Startup , so I had to consider an alternative set of options.
Startapper? You yourself are a starper!
Startups? Young man, stop swearing!
Pivot It seems to me cool, but only the creative class will understand.
As a working title, the
Hipster word stuck. Branding specialists, what do you think?
Habrahabr
I would like to hear the opinion of the players about the game. While not touching the game mechanics and other difficult moments. In the future, it is planned to give regular reports on the development process, searches for printing houses (it turns out, box and card printing are space things for Russia) and negotiations with retail chains.
