It turns out that in the latest version of Google Earth, an additional layer of Weather has appeared. And this means that now anyone who wishes can, without getting up from behind the computer, observe in real time the changes in meteorological conditions at any point on the globe.
Simply open the Layers tab and find the Weather layer in it. Weather "layers":
Clouds - display of clouds; Radar - programs data of the meteorological network of Doppler radars;
Conditions and Forecasts - air temperature, and a number of other information (humidity, pressure, wind speed, weather forecast for two days ahead, etc.);
Information - Background information.
Information on the movement of cloud areas is borrowed from the servers of the Naval Research Laboratory in Monterey; all other data is taken from Weather.com. This means that there is no doubt about the reliability of the weather information displayed by the Weather layer.
In addition, if you follow the Information link, and then click the Download 24-hour clouds animation button, you can see the cyclone’s movement for the last 24 hours, visually assess the weather situation and predict it for several days ahead.
