Where are you, fans of juicy pixel graphics? Where are you, fans of viscous eight-bit sound? Three great American guys from Chattanooga, Tennessee offer you a pleasant, nostalgic way of parting with money: buy a collection of retro games 6 in 1. And yet the collection is not simple, but created with your direct participation.
What?
Almost a month ago, these guys opened a project on Kickstarter . The story is very romantic: in the framework of the Ludum Dare contest (a toy over the weekend), the three of them riveted Super Clew Land , which turned out to be so good that it took second place. But the guys did not stop on their laurels, and decided to spend a month on its completion. The month was very productive, and they thought: what will happen if we repeat this experience? Repeat it 6 times, releasing one game per month, and based on community preferences.
In order to make this possible, they decided to create a crowdfunding campaign. Which, by the way, is already coming to an end: at the time of writing the topic, 70 hours and $ 20,000 remain until the end of the campaign. ')
Kickstarter missed several hundred game projects through himself, but the authors of this oppose their approach to the rest. You do not have to wait for the game for months, the first release you will receive immediately after the successful completion of the campaign. And since then, every month, the next six months, you will be pleased with the new release, highlighting in detail the development process and adapting to the preferences of the public.
It will be nice if they can keep all their promises, since each of these three makes an impression of a decent psycho and an extremely creative person. The necessary qualities for the author of a cool game, I think.
