The long-awaited revolutionary release of QEMU 1.3 has been released.

A new version of the QEMU emulator has been released, which marks the end of the merger of the two KVM and QEMU development branches. This means that you can now use Vanilla QEMU to start your KVM virtual machines. You no longer need a special version of QEMU optimized for KVM. Many other features and improvements have become available with this release, among them a significant improvement in USB3, live disk mirroring, support for glusterfs volumes and improved support for the old VGA mode.
