Avast update completely blocks the network

Technical support operators and system administrators apparently noticed a sharp surge in complaints from Avast users who have lost their network since last night (some today). Many in a state of network connection in the place of the IP address and MAC had a void, for those who used PPPoE, an error was 720.

The administration of Avast on the official forum confirmed the problem, different solutions are offered, but apparently the only one that works is guaranteed - removing Avast, replacing system files (tcpip.sys and others).
The most amusing is the fact that at the beginning of the complaints the administration of the forum did not know that the problem was due to the antivirus, and standardly asked the complainants about the version of the antivirus, the operating system, whether they tried to reboot, etc.
