Last.fm creators Lumi recommends interesting content from the browsing history of other users
The creators of Last.fm , Felix Miller and Martin Stiksel, have launched a new project Lumi , which analyzes the history of user browsing, and, following the results of the analysis, gives recommendations in the form of an endless tape.Lumi is an analogue of Last.fm, only for much larger content options. Now you can register and "feel it live."
Allegedly, “ Lumi allows you to anonymously and securely log your browsing history so that Lumi can decide what interests you.” The service finds similar resources in the history of other users, and makes appropriate recommendations. The service is not similar to other well-known counterparts, like Flipboard and Zite, because its client part is not available as an application, but as an extension to the browser. ')
At this stage, the project is funded by the founders themselves, and registration for the “early birds” is open .
It sounds interesting, especially considering that Last.fm was a great project from the start, and quickly became popular.
