According
to the Associated Press, the European Agency for Interactive Advertising (
EIAA ) conducted another study of the depth of Internet penetration among European audiences. The data obtained show that already more than half of the inhabitants of the Old World regularly walk across the expanses of the Network.
Another impressive indicator: the European youth aged 16 to 24 years now prefers the Internet to TV - the owner of the minds of several generations. 82% of boys and girls regularly network (at least 5 days a week), while only 77% often watch TV.
At the same time, the Internet is increasingly covering older people as well: the number of so-called “silver surfers” (audience over 55 years old, a “thin” hint of gray hair) has increased by 12% over the year. More attention was paid to the Network and representatives of the beautiful half of humanity - women increased by 8%.

Interest in the trends of the times - social networks and video services - has grown incredibly. Already 42% of Internet users in Europe communicate through social networks, and constantly watch videos through the Network with one and a half times more people than last year.
Finally, 80% of respondents stated that they “cannot live” without contacting the network at least once a week.
The study was conducted by telephone among 7,008 residents of Britain, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and three countries in Scandinavia.
