About the salary of a programmer and a house in Cyprus

Today at the local forum was a post - a person sells a house in Cyprus. I, frankly, in shock (they ask some pennies for mine). But I liked the idea - the house in Cyprus is definitely good =) Don't you think so?
I figured that with the current salary I need to save about 50 years for this house =) And probably some Muscovites could afford to buy such property (I mean the indigenous ones, those who do not spend all their money on paying for rental housing).
