Many have probably heard about the student technology competition Imagine Cup , but there are still many students who do not understand how best to participate in the competition, or can not find like-minded people. To help them, Microsoft, together with the Skolkovo Open University, is conducting a series of express schools of the Imagine Cup in St. Petersburg and Tomsk .

Next week, express schools will be held in Tomsk on the basis of the Microsoft Innovation Center / TPU on December 11 and in St. Petersburg on the basis of NRU ITMO on December 14 . In Moscow, we plan to hold a similar school at the end of January, and we invite students from other cities to the online broadcast of the main events of the express school from St. Petersburg on December 14 (details will be reported in our student blog ).

- Learn how to develop modern applications for Windows 8 / Windows Phone
- Take part in interesting trainings and workshops, learn about the basics of technological entrepreneurship
- Tell about your idea, hear feedback from the organizers of the competition and other participants, get tips on how to improve the idea.
- Come up with an idea to participate in the competition and assemble a team
- By the evening, participate in a mini-competition of projects designed and created for this day.
- Learn the main secrets of winning the Imagine Cup!
