Google TV adapter Asus QUBE FCC certified
This week, we found out that the FCC certification passed QUBE, a USB adapter for Google TV from ASUS. Interestingly, instead of consoles of the usual form factor (like from Vizio or Sony), ASUS can release an Android USB dongle for TVs (like the famous MiniX) on a dual-core 1.5Ghz Marvell Armada. On Google Play, they even found several applications from ASUS that directly mention QUBE, which may indicate its imminent launch.
In general,
skepticism prevails over Google TV on the network, but on Saturday there was also information about the certification of
Netgear NeoTV Prime, also known as GTV100 . When devices are prepared by manufacturers like ASUS and Netgear, one can expect the product to become massive, and fast.
Google TV - also known as "Android for your TV" - a hardware and software platform for set-top boxes and Android-based HDTV, developed by Google, Intel, Sony and Logitech. The project was officially presented by Google and its partners on May 20, 2010.

It is possible that second-tier manufacturers have realized that it does not make much sense to invest in developing their own software, and plan to massively use Google TV as a platform (as has already happened with Chinese smartphones in recent years).
Such a solution is welcome - for example, the interface of existing DVB-T2 consoles (which is being deployed in Russia) is terrible.
Will Android be on every TV?
We wait! :)
