A certain Japanese (Mr. Shinoda) accidentally (I wonder how it could have been done accidentally) cut several grooves in the asphalt and then drove along the damaged road surface by car.
It turned out that if you drive along the road at a certain speed, you can hear some semblance of a melody! Members of the Hokkaido Industrial Research Institute have begun cutting thousands of carefully dimensioned grooves on local roads. Each groove is 6 to 12 cm from the others. You can imagine how difficult the Japanese had to do the work. Fortunately, they are not used to. ')
You can try out the musical road in three places in Japan: in Hokkaido, Wakayama and Gunma. The optimum speed for driving is 28 miles per hour. An example of a melody can be heard on the video.
