Robotic bass on the Atmel ATMega328 and Arduino IDE

A very interesting project was presented recently by a student from New Zealand. His robotic bass (he is called MechBass), accompanies well-known works. MechBass itself is controlled via MIDI, while it plays very accurately, practically without errors.

The Atmel ATMega328 and Arduino IDE microcontroller is used as a platform. The basis is aluminum, rather strong. Of course, the robot is able to play not only what we hear (and see) on the video below. For those who want to create the same device, provides detailed instructions in pdf .
