Hirobo is famous for its radio-controlled helicopter models. Now they decided to go a little further, and made a single micro-helicopter.

The HX-1, as the model was christened, can lift one person into the air. Flight time is only half an hour (at a speed of 97 kilometers per hour). The flight will be virtually silent.



The project is planned to invest about 125 million dollars over the next seven years. The first test flight is scheduled for 2013 (with a successful test, the model will be launched on a conveyor for mass production at 2021).
