About "bastards"

In our opinion, the founder of the “bastards” is Ilya Zdanevich (1894–1975), one of the representatives of the Russian avant-garde, as well as the St. Petersburg Society of Artists and Writers “Bloodless Murder” (representatives: M. V. Le-Dante, O. Leshkova, N Lapshin, N. Yankin, V. Ermolaeva, E. Turova, Yanko Lavrin, and others).

Zdanevich, being the editor of the literary and political journal Northern Notes, founder of the Freedom to Art Society, united under the general idea of writers, artists, and actors. It is interesting that V. Mayakovsky spoke out against the manifesto “Freedom to Art”.
Society collapsed with time and was recreated under the name “Art. Revolution". (Representatives: V. Ermolaeva, E. Turova, N. Lapshin, L. Bruni, N. Lyubavina, O. Brik).
Zdanevich is also the founder of the association “41 °” (Zdanevich, Terentyev, Kruchenykh). During this period, he publishes three plays: "AsEl NapracAt" (1918), "Ostraf PASkhi" (1919), "Yeah Ya'gaba" (1920).
