Access to Facebook partially blocked by order of authorities in Tajikistan

Some providers of Tajikistan received an order to block access to Facebook from the local communications office last Sunday.

The reason for blocking was not indicated.

Some providers have already fulfilled the order, so their clients were left without access to the social network.

In general, in Tajikistan there are about 41,000 Facebook users. And the government is not the first to block access to the social network - in March there was already a similar order, as a result of which access to Facebook and several other sites was cut off for about a week.

The official representative of Facebook in Russia said that the company is still carefully studying the situation in order to make an official statement later.
