Research robot turtle

One of the main objectives of the creation of this robot is the possibility of studying the underwater ecosystem of coral reefs. The creator was inspired by the movements of sea turtles, so the robot uses special fins to move instead of the usual screws for such cases.

Maximum speed - 7.2 km / h.
Weight - 75 kg.
Length - 1 meter.

The shape of the turtle was chosen for a reason - it is much easier to technically implement it than the shape of a fish, for example. Plus, it is easier to place a lot of sensors (and batteries for the robot itself) for research on a big turtle-robot carcass.

The device of the robot is constantly being improved, the concept assumes full water tightness of all the nodes and the presence of the following sensors:

- pressure meter,
- temperature sensor,
- gyro,
- GPS,
- leakage sensor,
- compass.

- BlueFox Camera

Drives:

- 6 x 200W
- 2 x 15W

Battery - LiPo 48V 32Ah

The body is aluminum.

CPU - i7 dual core processor
