The Oliver Twins launch the project Dizzy Returns
On Habré already flashed the news that the Oliveri brothers opened a fundraiser for a new game Dizzy Returns on Kickstarter.
The event, it would seem, at the present time, is ordinary. The generation of gamers of the 80s and 90s grew up, got money, and the market of retro games, eight-bit T-shirts and all kinds of remakes began to grow by leaps and bounds. However, not everything is so casual. At least, having a little thought, for the first time in my life I did not just express moral support for the project, but I was not too lazy to go in for a kickstarter and donate some real money.
First, the project will be written not by some licensed subcontractor or hired remake, but by the brothers themselves with their firm. Secondly, we plan not just another Dizzy part with new graphics and other gadgets, but a completely new game, qualitatively different from all the previous ones, equally interesting for both retro gamers and the new generation.

And thirdly ... I want to do without unnecessary pathos, but still, think. You can help The Oliver Twins themselves to release a new Dizzy-game. There is something almost unreal in it, which was impossible to imagine when you yourself played some Fantasy World Dizzy. This is almost a historic event, when in twenty years the creators of the original game are ready to start working again. Themselves. The same composition, the same talents. This is most likely the only chance for the success of the project. If they don’t collect the money now, they probably won’t try a second time.
Yes, and many people here are close to supporting the authors of their favorite computer program. Let's face it, in Russia there is a whole army of Dizzy fans (how many Dizzy remakes were released here? ..), and the brothers from the whole army in the sense of money got the absolute zero. Even if you are not close to the idea of a new part of the game (we all remember Duke), just go to the project site and express gratitude to The Oliver Twins for our happy childhood :)
