Well, that ended Leopard Pro Show.
The speech was divided into three parts:
1) Presentation Mac Os X Leopard
2) Presentation of the new version of Final Cut Studio
3) Presentation of the new version of Logic Studio
Unfortunately, I was able to attend only the first two, but they also brought a lot of pleasant impressions.
In parallel, the show was accompanied by an exhibition of Apple products. Showed new iMac'i, Mac'i Pro, and others.
Everyone could approach and play Leopard.

Particularly pleased with the symbol of the whole performance - a real leopard perched at the feet of a pretty girl :)

Well, let's get back to the performance itself. The show was led by a Frenchman who spoke English with a funny accent (unfortunately he did not remember the name, like Cris). In front of the entrance to the hall there was a table with infrared headsets, through which all the guests heard a simultaneous translation of the performance. There were not very many present, in any case, the first rows were fairly free. Here and there lighted displays MacBook. Occasionally flashed iPhones.
It all began with the traditional presentation for Apple Apple :)

When the director of the iPro company appeared on the scene, it became a bit unusual - the presenter was not at all illuminated, but over time his eyes got used to and completely concentrated on the screen and the events occurring on it.

Presentation of Mac OS X LeopardFor people close to the idea of Apple, nothing new was said, in principle, all this can be seen on apple.com, in video presentations. But nevertheless, it was extremely funny to watch everything live, under the jokes of the host.
At first we were immersed in a small prehistory of "leopard"

Then they began to talk about its main features and innovations. Such as:
Updated Finder with Quick Look

Modified Mail. Pay attention to the highlighted phrase :) the narrator throughout the presentation from time to time pin up Windows and PC

iChat was pleasantly surprised - in front of our eyes the presenter contacted his friend from France, demonstrating a preview of the files, editing them together, and “sharing” the desktop of the interlocutor

Spaces

Bootcamp

And, of course, Time Machine. At the same time, the presenter dedicated us to a touching story about his ex-girlfriend, with whom he broke, deleted the contact from the address book, but suddenly remembered, regretted and decided to contact again :)

Presentation of Final Cut Studio 2Then, after a short break, during which we enjoyed coffee with cream, and tea with lemon, we were shown a new Final Cut Studio. Namely:
The new ProRes format, for working with high-resolution video, which allows you to compress the file by weight almost 10 times, almost without losing quality

Adjusting the video in the Color application (adding contrast, saturation, highlighting color).

Work with the package Motion 3 (add various text and 3d-effects, and all kinds of video editing). I, a person far from video editing, was greatly impressed by the stabilization of the video - saving it from unnecessary jerking. Perhaps this function in the same Avid is implemented quite easily, but in real-time its application looked just great :)

And finally, we were shown how to work with SoundTrack Pro 2 - video and audio track information recorded in the studio (various crossfading, synchronization with the image, volume control, etc.) :)
At the end of this part of the performance, I left the hall and hurried about my business, although I really wanted to stay, honestly.
The atmosphere of the whole event was as warm as possible - no extra formality, and pathos associated with it. In general, I really liked it :)

If someone can make a mini-review of the last, third part of the presentation - it would be very interesting to read :)
PS: I am not a mac-user, so I could make a mistake in describing any details.
PPS: I apologize right away if I missed some important part for you, because I told you about what was most memorable.
PPPS: for the quality of photos do not scold too much - they were taken on an iPhone. :(
