The Witcher. It's only the beginning

RPG masterpiece from the Polish CD Projekt called The Witcher (The Witcher) on the cycle of works of the pan Andrzej Sapkowski left indifferent only a small part of the audience, which was designed. Basically, the reviews about the non-casual adult game, that from the players, that from the journalists agree on one thing: in recent years there have been no projects of this level.


Therefore, the recent statements by the developers about the inevitable continuation of the Witcher are quite natural. Moreover, it is “wired” in the game itself, more precisely in its ending, leaving more questions than answers and clearly indicating future adventures.

So, in an interview with the Polish gaming magazine Przekroj, the developers from CD Projekt Red told almost about Napoleon’s plans for the development of the series. First, soon enough (I would like to believe, since the Witcher is still a long-term construction), an add-on should appear, continuing the storyline of the first part. Secondly, immediately after the release of the add-on, the developers will begin (and, perhaps, have already begun) to create a full-fledged sequel.

In addition, the company CD Projekt (which is actually a major Eastern European publisher) intends to invest a lot in creating a full-length animation film that will be dealt with by the studio Platigue Image, which showed its capabilities in excellent opening and final game videos.
