Samsung Chromebook performance tests for Ubuntu 13.04

The new Chromebook , priced at $ 249, built on Samsung's Exynos 5 Dual processor - a dual-core chip based on the ARM Cortex-A15 architecture, shows very good performance. On board an 11-inch laptop 2 gigabytes of RAM and 16 GB SSD. The performance of the new Cortex-A15 architecture is 40% higher than the Cortex-A9 at the same clock frequency. In addition, new processors can work with a terabyte of memory and support Xen / KVM virtualization.

The test results show that the new Chromebook surpasses in many ways not only the Calxeda ARM server on the previous-generation A9 quad-core processor, but also the dual-core Intel Atom D525, which supports Hyperthreading technology.
