plans to capture a third of the Runet market and become one of the important buttons. At the same time, we all observe how the leader of the Russian search is losing its position. Only in September, the share of Yandex decreased by more than
one percentage point : from 56.7 percent of the transitions in RuNet to 55.5 percent,
reports the publication Roem.ru.
Needless to say, for a market leader, losing interest is very unpleasant. After all, this is not a slow growth, not smooth balancing, but a concrete and rapid fall. If the trend of recent months continues (and according to October data, the decline continues), within a year, the share of Yandex in the market will decrease by 10-15 percent. For him it is a disaster!

But the biggest blow of the Russian monopolist is expected next year. The search engine
Gogo showed good results and met the expectations of the creators. The contract with Yandex will lose legal force on January 1. After that, Mail.ru will not make sense to support a direct competitor if you have your own high-quality product. Market specialists believe that after Mail.ru’s refusal to extend the contract, and by placing its own search agent, Yandex will find itself in a very difficult situation.
In a state of war on all fronts, and in an effort to correct the situation, Yandex goes to unjustified financial costs. He pays search partners overestimated amounts for their audience. In this light, a new partnership with the long-dead
Aport , which has neither a team, nor technology, nor a noticeable audience share, seems even more doubtful. Only for the placement of contextual advertising in the search results of Aport, Yandex had to pay an impressive amount, several times higher than the market one. Without a doubt, the next step is the purchase of an Aport and, possibly, other minor search engines. However, even 10 of these Aport can not replace Mail.ru and compete with the same Google.
