The so-called plenoptic camera Lytro has already been
described on Habré more than once. Interest in this device is understandable - after all, he is doing something that no other camera is capable of yet. Until now, photos taken with Lytro could only change focus. Now, with the software update, it is possible to change the perspective, as well as add some filters that change the appearance of the photo. True, the update in question will appear only in early December (4 numbers).
After the owner of the device installs the update, two new items appear in the photo menu: Perspective Shift and Living Filters. Of course, it is not possible to significantly change the perspective, but what is there is quite worthy. Moreover, it is now possible to add filters that change the color of the photo, or even change the appearance of the photo. Total developers plan to add nine different filters.

The most popular of the added filters, judging by the use on other services, are Film Noir, Crayon, and Carnival. With their help, it will be possible to significantly change the appearance of the photos, so that Lytro-photographers now have a more extensive field of activity.
The most interesting thing is that you can use all these updates for photos received by the camera before the release of the update.
Unfortunately, Habr's tools do not allow putting here an example of Lytro photos with added functions, but from the link below you can find examples of such modified photos.
