Today I come to work, turn on the computer. A ICQ message comes from a friend - link

I click on the link and find there is news about the virus, about which I wrote in a post about new ways of withdrawing money.
Well, there’s nothing in it, but I was surprised that such a publication as 3D-news does not indicate references to sources:
The news on Habré was 2 November. The news on the 3D-news is dated today - 08/11/2007. Those. obviously the news is not so fresh (and if you read the
comments to the post on Habré, it turns out that the news in general is September). However, the publication presents it as the latest discovery.
As far as I can remember, an unwritten (mostly) rule has always acted on the Internet - if you write about something, then indicate references to sources. Actually, the question has arisen - does the rule of reference to the source act only with full reprint of the text of the news, but does not apply to the information issue as a whole? It seems to me that here there is borrowing news from other resources. I'm a little puzzled ...
