
This week, the US Patent Office approved another patent for Apple.
"An animated graphical user interface that displays a screen or part of it."

The figure shows the three positions of the turned page on the screen - a slightly curved corner (the beginning of the "turning over"), half the distance covered, and almost a completely inverted sheet.
The function is used in the iBooks application. And something tells me that not only in it.
By the way, just this week, Apple replenished a piggy bank of patents for 38 new ones. Among which is the iTunes icon (note) and the use of glass stairs in its stores.
