Among other things, the MS Internet Explorer browser built into the MS Windows OS has a fairly wide audience, which will never get rid of, probably never — people who are used to (signed, bought, etc.) to Windows, and for whom MS IE browser. It’s just enough for them , and they will refuse to do any gestures in order to change it. Just like they have enough of Windows, and change it - too much time spent on addiction. And this, in turn, is lost work time, which such people, as a rule, value highly.
All these mercantile disputes about the fact that Microsoft absorbs our life for a certain circle of people are simply meaningless: server, well, and how does this prevent the use of 1C? Well, they will see, but everything is clean or long ago paid to me to the appropriate authorities ... And so on.
The reasons for the refusal of the transition can be many. But we still get an audience of users of IE. Let us succeed in reducing it to 10%. But just 10-15% use alternative browsers now, and for them we make another version of the layout. And this means that we will be forced, having clasped our teeth, to do an alternative layout and then.
