Jump from 4000 meters with HTC One X

Surely many of you remember the video of the advertising campaign of the HTC One family, which was made by professional director Norman Kent. The video aroused an unprecedented interest in the blogosphere, but many doubted its plausibility: is it possible, for example, to perform such a jump with the phone as a camera without having dropped it?

And one of the readers of our Facebook page, Vyacheslav Malunov, volunteered to repeat the experiment. By the nature of his business, he is an air operator and uses GoPro in his work. So to repeat the experiment with the smartphone in his hands was not a problem for him.

The jump was carried out from a height of 4000 meters. We offer to see the final material! Note that most of the scenes in the video was filmed on the HTC One X.

Of course, the phone is not a professional video camera, and it is very difficult to get high-quality video in such conditions, but, in our opinion, the experiment was a success!
