Tiny analog projector for Instagram

It was these good old analog devices that pushed designer Benjamin Redford to the idea of ​​creating a miniature film slide projector for viewing digital photos.



Projecteo is not a “warm lamp”, but a cold LED, but it is absolutely an analog slide projector the size of a matchbox. He uses as a carrier the usual photographic film. One slide is a circle of film on which there are nine photographs. The circle is inserted into a special disk, rotating which you can change the pictures in the slideshow. The Projecteo application will allow you to create slides from photos uploaded to Instagram, and order their printing and delivery.

Batteries toy projector lasts 8 hours. The brightness of the LED is enough to get an image with a diagonal of about 75 centimeters in a more or less dark room. You can order a Projecteo and one slide disc on Kickstarter for $ 25 (plus $ 5 for shipping outside the US). The first deliveries are scheduled for February 2013.
