Announcement of three new phones from Sony Ericsson
Sony Ericsson has announced three new mobile phones: K660, W890 and W380 Walkman, designed to work in networks GSM / GPRS / EDGE and UMTS / HSDPA (the first two models).
Sony Ericsson K660 is positioned as a phone for web surfing due to support for horizontal orientation of the screen, as well as high-speed access technology of the third generation HSDPA. When you launch the NetFront web browser, additional function buttons are activated that are hidden during normal operation. In addition to the web browser, the device is equipped with an application for reading RSS feeds. Monoblock has a built-in camera with a resolution of 2 MP and allows you to instantly upload pictures to your personal blog. Similarly, with two other innovations, the phone comes bundled with a wired stereo headset and Memory Stick M2. Here its volume is 256 MB.
W890 Walkman has a camera with the highest resolution - 3.2 MP. In addition, the phone boasts the presence of integrated stereo speakers and a more capacious card included (2 GB). The handset is equipped with the latest version of the music player and the function SensMe, which automatically selects tracks in accordance with the chosen mood.
The last model presented is the W380 Walkman clamshell - it lacks 3G functionality. By analogy with the W910 slider, there is a gesture control function here. For example, the user can turn on silent mode by swinging the handset to the side. The external display shows the name of the track being played or the name of the caller. Included with the W380 is a half gigabyte memory card.
All three phones are equipped with a built-in FM radio with RDS support (KDS has no RDS support). In all devices, there is the now standard TrackID function, using which you can find out the artist and the name of the unknown song.

The appearance of new products on sale is expected in the first quarter of 2008. Sony Ericsson K660 will be sold in two colors: white-green and cherry-black. The W890 will be available in black, brown and silver, and the W380 in gray and magenta. Phones Sony Ericsson W890 and W380 for different regions will be released in different versions.
