Samsung did not raise the price of processors and is not going to enter into an alliance with Apple following the example of HTC

On Habré, it was mentioned that Samsung, in the best traditions of vindictiveness, allegedly raised prices by 20% on the price of processors for the iPhone and iPad, as if having won back a patent infringement lawsuit. Many analysts even managed to estimate the loss of Apple.

Samsung on the pages of the Seoul edition of The Hankyoreh officially denied information about the price increase for Apple, describing the situation as follows - the prices of supplies for key corporation partners are usually determined at the beginning of the year and cannot be changed so easily. Everything else is the invention of journalists.

Also today, one of the top managers of the South Korean corporation commented on the conclusion of the patent world between Apple and HTC for 10 years. JK Shin, head of Samsung’s mobile division, said his company wasn’t going to negotiate with Apple about the fate of technology and the only way to resolve such disputes is through court decisions.

Samsung did not receive an official statement about the words of Shin, so it is worth noting that his words may turn out to be his personal opinion, despite his high position in the company.
