"Yandex" closes the "Bar"

Yandex ceases to distribute its Yandex.Bar service, which expands the capabilities of the browser. A press release was issued today, stating that instead of Bar, an extension of Yandex.Ilements will be offered, presented in June 2012. New favorably less congested interface that does not clog the browser (many functions work in the background). Other distinguishing features are the search line embedded in the input line, and the scoreboard function to speed up access to your favorite sites.

By analogy with “Bar”, “Elements” contain various indicators notifying the user about the weather, traffic jams, new letters, as well as a service for translating from one language to another and switching the layout.

“Elements” can be used in almost all modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE, Opera) and in the own browser from “Yandex”. Already installed versions of Yandex Bara can be updated to a new product. Download the "Bar" from official sources is no longer possible, the project has been declared completely closed.
