Today, as promised, a preview version of Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 7 has become available. Link to the download page
here and a direct link to the Russian version for Windows 7 SP1 x64
here (x86
here ).
In the afternoon, the link was
here , but it led to a non-existent page, in the evening the link was completely removed from there, and closer to midnight it became accessible and operational again.
UPD. From noticeable changes:
1) the speed of rendering pages and the browser as a whole has significantly increased;
2) fortunately there is no built-in flash;
3) alas, but the
cool bulging scroll bars from Windows 7 gave way to a flat a la Windows 8 styling of buttons and controls on web pages became completely similar to that in Windows 8;
3) an
incomprehensible glitch from the version for Windows 8 remained - when you close one tab from several, all tabs expand to the size that occupied the entire row of tabs along with the closed one, and then narrow to normal size again UPD: This is one of the features: “if you hover on cross the extreme right tab and say, say 5 times - the last 5 tabs will close ”.
