FeedBurner purchased a blog analytics service

FeedBurner, the largest provider of RSS feed management services, announced the acquisition of Blogbeat , a company specializing in blog analytics. Now about 200 thousand users of FeedBurner will have at their disposal powerful tools for a comprehensive comparative analysis of feed subscriptions and blog attendance. Previously, this functionality was not available in any service.

Blogbeat's functionality will be integrated into the free FeedBurner StandardStats web toolkit. Integration is completed within IV sq. 2006. The appearance of additional paid services is expected next year. Blogbeat customers who have paid for services that are now free will be refunded.
