Firefox 8 years with us

The first version of Firefox was released on November 9, 2004.
Today, the browser celebrates its full 8 years.

Some have a slightly different report, from the beta version of 2002, at that time, not Firefox, but Phoenix. But the full stable version in 2004 received the name Firefox.

At one time, Firefox managed to win a good chunk of the market from IE, but now Chrome, Opera and Safari make for him a good competition, and it is the third most popular browser in the world.



Happy Birthday, Firefox ! I am glad to celebrate my anniversary on the same day as Fox.
