In general, it seems that we are doing something necessary.
But the quality of the information that we manage to collect on the Internet suits us only partly.
It would seem strange, but we could not find in the network a single resource, where all the music is properly cataloged and stored in perfect order. In the same last.fm , in the cards of artists very often there is a mess, I'm not talking about our Russian catalog. We receive metadata from other resources, we have agreed with Discogs.com , musicbrains.com , deezer.com . But this does not solve the problem. Therefore, the task - to restore order. We decided to enable our users to administer the pages of their favorite artists. We suggest you use Tracksflow.com , including, as such a kind of Wiki, a musical encyclopedia. We hope that this will be useful and in demand.
The mechanics are very simple - any user can send a request to manage the artist's page, including all the content that is associated with this artist. After moderation, the administrator gets the ability to create / delete albums. While this is the first steps in this direction, the functionality is limited. But in the future, and if necessary, we will certainly realize other possibilities.
