AWS: ElasticBeanstalk now supports Ruby applications and VPC integration

As of today, Amazon Elastic Beanstalk supports Ruby 1.8.7 and 1.9.3 applications. As you can see, this PaaS solution from AWS is now a direct competitor to Heroku, the most famous platform for Ruby applications. The dolls can be downloaded using the Git + CLI bundle or directly through the console.

Also, it has become possible to run Elastic Beanstalk applications in Amazon Virtual Pricate Cloud, integrating them with an existing network. Yes, it's just great news!
