Russians have forgotten how to meet in the street

Recent public opinion polls conducted in Russia indicate a fundamental change in the most important norms of social behavior. The study “Online Monitor” (April-May, 2007) showed that now it is much more convenient for Russians to meet on the Internet than on the street (see the diagram below). At least for those who know about the existence of the Internet, this is the case. If it goes on like this, then soon even going out is not fashionable.

Approximately 18% of Russian users have acquaintances who met on the Internet, and the affair ended with a wedding.
