The new tool from Clearspring will make widgets out of sites

At the beginning of this week, Clearspring Technologies announced the launch of Launchpad , a suite of applications that allows developers to convert web sites into widgets that can be added to social networks, blogs and other sites.

Thus, a company can make a widget - a small application, usually with a single function - with images or games that can be distributed on other sites, says Hooman Radfar, founder and CEO of Clearspring Technologies.

Developers can use the Clearspring code to quickly insert a menu or share button on their sites. This will give end users the ability to quickly insert the widget into the site, in particular, into the blog.

Developers using Launchpad will also have access to the statistics and reports of Clearspring to keep track of widget views, their placement, unique viewers and time spent using widgets. Clearspring offers various statistics visualization tools, including import to Excel.
