Google cancels the event on October 29 because of the hurricane

Google has canceled a scheduled Monday event for the new Android and the new Nexus line .
The reason was the raging hurricane Sandy . The governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo declared a state of emergency in connection with the approach of the hurricane, and the venue of the event Google, the pier on the waterfront, is now in the evacuation zone.
