As you all know, yesterday Microsoft released Windows 8. I use Windows 8 from the earliest version and felt the development of both the operating system and the application store. In this article I will tell about those applications from the Windows Store, which I use daily. I hope this guide will help beginners.
I have Windows 8 installed on 5 different PCs: a stationary desktop that is already 6 years old, a two-year-old Acer Iconia Tab W500 tablet, a three-year-old Dell laptop, a relatively new working laptop Lenovo W510 and a new MacBook Air 11 '' (2012 model). On each of these different-looking devices, all the applications presented work equally well: on the tablet, I use the touchpad, on the PC with the mouse, on the laptops touchpad.

The article contains a list of the best in my opinion Windows 8 applications that any user of this system with a Russian account can install on their PC. Almost all applications have support for the unique features of Windows 8 — live tiles, search contracts, or files.
This is the first part of the guide, in the sequel I will talk about numerous applications for popular services like Film Search, clients of online services like Wikipedia and others. In the final third part there will be a big story about numerous games for the Windows Store.
Skype needs no introduction. I can only say that under Windows 8 it looks just fine.

Mobli is a cool Instagram-like service that allows you to share videos and videos with friends. The service has applications for iPhone and Android, now for Windows 8. By the way, the client is very beautiful.

Another standard application that aggregates many sources of your photos: local collections, SkyDrive, Flickr, Facebook, external media. Live Tile twists pictures and photos.
Standard Camera application allows you to work with the camera, take photos and shoot video.
Lync is a client to the corporate communications system of the same name. If your company uses Lync for instant messaging and video conferencing, be sure to check it out. In another case, the application is useless for you.
SkyDrive is another standard Microsoft application, a client for cloud file storage. I highly recommend the SkyDrive service and the application itself, which integrates into file access contracts and allows you to access files in the cloud from any application in Windows 8.
Analogs: Yandex.Disk (at the time of writing this article has disappeared from the store) - an excellent client and also with a file access contract! Box.com is a client for the cloud file storage service of the same name.
Muz.ru Amuze is a client for a music service that gives you free legal streaming of our and foreign music for every taste.
Evernote needs no introduction. Install. Although, personally, I prefer to use OneNote.
4th & Square is an unofficial client for Foursquare. Constantly updated. From pleasant - notifications when you came to a new place that you can make a check. From not very pleasant - a rustic interface.
News Bento is a convenient and beautiful RSS feed reader and for my taste is the best client for Google Reader. In the presence of a set of popular resources for those who do not have their tapes and uchetki in Google Reader. Separate tapes can be taken out in live tiles in Start.
