Created programming language for global surveillance in social networks

Researchers from the R & D division of AT & T (formerly Bell Labs) in the early 1970s developed the C programming language, which later became one of the most widely used programming languages in the world. Their new development, we hope, will not find such wide application. We are talking about a special Hancock language for processing information from global tracking systems for social networks, including contacts in telephone networks and the physical world, IP addresses of visited sites, etc. In the scientific press, the first mention of the unique development of AT & T is dated 2001, but it has just surfaced. Intelligence agencies have been using this system for several years.

With the help of the program on Hancock, you can identify people who are almost certainly criminals by the behavior on the social network. In fact, only by the results of a single computer printout can a person be immediately put in jail. Of course, such programs can be written in other languages as well, but Hancock simplifies this task by an order of magnitude. Programs written in Hancock can work with information as it enters the database, almost in real time.

Hancock source codes for non-commercial use as well as instructions are available online.

The following code on Hancock allows real-time extraction of information about the IP addresses of visited resources from the headers of communication packets in a traffic stream. Information is stored and printed. The program takes 33 lines of code.

The programming language Hancock helps to work with telephone interception systems in which all calls between numbers in fixed and mobile networks are recorded. It is known that US phone companies conduct such an analysis of social networks at the direction of the FBI. Recently, mobile operator Verizon refused to provide this data and complained to Congress about the allegedly illegal requirements of the special services.
