Boston Dynamics's Pet-Proto Robot overcomes obstacles and keeps balance after a jump

Pet-Proto is a prototype of the autonomous human-like ATLAS robot that Boston Dynamics is developing for DARPA. This video shows obstacles similar to those that participants of the DARPA Robotics Challenge have to overcome. Under the terms of the competition, robots must be able to move independently in dilapidated buildings littered with debris, climb stairs, use tools and industrial equipment. These skills will be needed to conduct battles with the remnants of mankind after nuclear bombing of rescue and restoration work in a dangerous situation for humans.
