2GIS - Hotel Expert
2GIS is not without reason called “an expert on the city” - the directory contains up-to-date information about millions of organizations, and the maps are detailed down to kiosks and fences. But, as they say, there is no limit to perfection: we continue to collect new types of information and add them to our directory. Today hotels became the object of our closest attention. From now on, in the 2GIS directory, hotel cards will display information about the number of stars, the number and cost of rooms and the availability of the Internet.
Thus, 2GIS saves users time again: you can easily select a hotel by the necessary criteria without leaving our directory and without making any additional manipulations. Moreover, you can immediately book a room, as they say, “without departing from the ticket office”.
Dry numbers this time are as follows: more than 6,000 hotels in more than 180 cities are covered. By the way, the collected data allowed us not only to once again expand the scope of 2GIS, but also to collect interesting statistics.
In particular, among the names of the processed hotels there were quite funny specimens: for example, in Bobrovka you can spend the night in a complex called “333 beavers”, and in Samara there was suddenly a mini-hotel “Lelik and Bolik”.

Curious combinations of the letters “A” and “B” can be observed in several cities at once: in Novokuznetsk, you can stay at the hotel complex “Aba”; in Biysk, you will find the Abba mini-hotel (but we doubt that the legendary Swedish four stayed there); Ilyichevsk boasts camping "Abbo", but in Gelendzhik there is a guest house with the mysterious name "AbubA".
But especially interesting names distinguished St. Petersburg. In the cultural capital there are: the hotel Narnia (perhaps you need to enter it through the closet), the hotels Happy Pushkin and the Officer Poludomik, the hostel of the hotel type Murave, and much more. And, of course, this is not a complete list.
